FAQ's about our wallpaper
How do I measure my walls for wallpaper?
Measure the full width and height of your walls, ensuring you include any objects the wallpaper will go around, such as windows, outlets, and doors.
How much wallpaper do I need to order?
After measuring the full width and height of your wall, add an additional 8 inches to the height (4 inches at the top and 4 inches at the bottom) to ensure full coverage. Each panel is 19 inches wide, so order enough panels to cover the entire width of your wall.
What is the difference between peel-and-stick and traditional wallpaper?
Peel-and-stick wallpaper comes with an adhesive backing, making it easy to apply and remove, and can be repositioned during installation. It has a glossy shiny finish.Traditional wallpaper, on the other hand, requires paste or adhesive to be applied first. It is also has a matte finish.
Is the wallpaper easy to install by myself?
Yes, both peel-and-stick and traditional wallpapers can be installed by yourself with some patience and attention to detail. Peel-and-stick wallpaper is generally easier for beginners as it doesn’t require additional adhesive. Traditional wallpaper may require more preparation but our detailed instructions and tools can help simplify the process.
How do I remove wallpaper?
The removal of our Self Adhesive Vinyl products is easy! Expose a corner of your design with your fingernail and slowly peel it off the wall. Be patient in your removal technique to decrease the chance of any paint specks coming off with the removal of the product. If you’ve applied your vinyl product to a less porous surface like glass, we recommend that you use a hairdryer (set to a low heat) to warm the product. This slightly releases the adhesive, making it even easier to peel off.
What surfaces can I apply wallpaper to?
We highly recommend smooth wall surfaces for installation. If your wall is softly textured, bumpy or newly painted, the product will work but texture will be visible thru the vinyl. For examples of installs on textured surfaces visit our Instagram page @wallblush.com . Wall Blush cannot be held responsible if any graphics applied to a bumpy texture that do not stick. That being said, most applications on lightly textures surfaces like standard orange peel and knockdown textures should fair well.
